RCBVSPBKS Royal Challengers Bangalore has made it to the IPL final after 9 years. The team did this feat after defeating Punjab Kings by 8 wickets in a one -sided match. Earlier in 2016, Bangalore got a place in the IPL final when the team became runner -up.
Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday defeated the Punjab Kings eight wickets in the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, with the brilliant half-century innings of Phil Salat (56) after the deadly bowling of Suyash Sharma and Josh Hazlewood (three-three wickets) and Yash Dayal (two wickets), defeated the Punjab Kings eight wickets in the Uttest Uddire Waring match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Thursday.

Today, Royal Challengers team captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and decided to bowl first. Punjab Kings did not have a good start to bat and lost their five wickets for a score of 50. In the second over, Yash Dayal gave Bangalore the first success by dismissing Priyansh Arya (seven). In the very next over, Bhuvneshwar Kumar made Prabhasimran Singh (18) his victim.
In the fourth over, Punjab’s third wicket captain Shreyas Iyer (two) was dismissed by Josh Hazlewood. Josh English (four) also became a victim of Hazlewood. Nehal Vadhera (eight), Shashank Singh (three), Mushir Khan (zero) were out. Marcus Stonis scored the most (26) runs for Punjab. Ajmatullah Omrajai (18) scored runs. In front of the bowling attack of the Royal Challengers, the entire team of Punjab collapsed at a score of 101 in 14.1 overs.
Suyash Sharma and Josh Hazlewood took three wickets each. Yash Dayal dismissed two batsmen. Romario Shepherd and Bhuvneshwar Kumar got one wicket each.

Chasing a target of 102 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Phil Salet and Virat Kohli’s opening pair added 30 runs for the first wicket. In the fourth over, Kyle Zamison gave Virat Kohli (12) out to give Punjab the first success. After this, Mayank Agarwal (19), who came to bat, became a victim of Mushir Khan. During this, Phil Salat continued the disaster of Chauko Choko. Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match by eight wickets by scoring 106 runs for two wickets in 10 overs.
