Engvsind Joe Root’s unbeaten half -century scored 251 for four on the first day of the third cricket Test, but India did not let the match out of its grip by maintaining control of the run speed.
Just one run away from his 37th century, the route is playing 99 runs in 191 balls with the help of nine fours. At the other end, captain Ben Stokes (39 unbeaten in 102 balls) is playing him. After losing the initial wickets early, Root and Pope (44 off 104 balls) adopted the batting style of the traditional Test match and shared a 109 -run partnership for the third wicket.
Jadeja broke his century partnership with the route by sending the pope to the pavilion on the very first ball of the third season. The Pope gave a catch to Dhruv Jurlel behind the wicket, who was taking responsibility in place of wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant.
India got a setback in the second season when Pant was injured. The ball going out of the leg side of Bumrah hit the fingers of his left hand after which he had to leave the ground. Previous completed a half -century in a 102 ball by hitting a four in the fine leg area.

Stokes, playing under the guidance of coach Brandon McCullum, decided to bat for the second time in the domestic match for the first time.
