Two important Asia Cup matches between India and Pakistan starting on September 9 will be played in Dubai. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) made this announcement on Saturday.
The league phase between India and Pakistan will compete in Dubai on 14 September. A possible match of the Super Six phase between the two teams will be played at this place on 21 September. The final on September 29 will also be in Dubai.
Keeping in mind the T20 World Cup to be held in India and Sri Lanka next year, the tournament will be played in the T20 International format.
The ACC announced the matches on 26 July but its venue was announced on Saturday. Out of a total of 19 matches in the tournament, 11 matches will be played in Dubai and eight matches in Abu Dhabi.
India will play their opening two league matches on 10 September (vs UAE) and 14 September (vs Pakistan) in Dubai, while the last league match against Oman will be held on 19 September at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

In the Super Six phase, only one match is scheduled in Abu Dhabi.
India is with Pakistan, Oman and UAE in Group A. Group B stars Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Hong Kong.
