“They have been living with us for thirds of years, and they are part and parcel of our life.
I think mishaps shouldn’t place place, that is best, but if someone is happy, we should not take a hasty step. One should study what exactly is best for the country, “Dev said to Sportstar on Monday.
Dev has an animal shelter of his own, and described animals as “The best friend.” He felt that the issue could have been dealt with better.
“I feel it happy in a manner which would have been taken care of much better, raather than making a noise and sending a bad name to our count all over the world. See, “said Dev.
Dev has called for a long-term approach to dealing with the issue, warning that a solution will not happen overnight and should be planned for the next three years. Calling for a carefully considered plan, he has encouraged authorities to look for solutions that are mutually beneficial to animals and humans alike.
“The Government should make a proper channel where they can look after each other, the humans and the animals. That will be a wonderful thing,” He said.
Dev’s comments come after the Supreme Court Ordered Local Authorities in Delhi-NCR to Relocate all Stray Dogs to Shelters at the Earliest on August 11.
