Cheteshwar Pujara, one of India’s best Test batsmen, said goodbye to his brilliant career on Sunday. Announced retiring on social media in this 37 -year -old player. Pujara played 103 Test matches for India. He played his last Test match in 2023.
Pujara said, “As a little boy from the small town of Rajkot, I targeted to join the stars with my parents and dreamed of being a part of the Indian cricket team. I did not know that this game would give me so much. This game gave me an invaluable opportunity, experience, purpose, love and the opportunity to represent my state and this great nation. ,
Pujara said emotionally, “Wearing Indian jersey, singing the national anthem and trying to give his best every time on the field – it is impossible to describe in words. But as everything ends and I have also decided to retire from all formats of Indian cricket. ”

The decision to retire Test cricket expert batsman Pujara was not completely surprising, as two other veteran players of the team Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma said goodbye to Test cricket before the England tour earlier this year.
Pujara scored 7195 runs in his Test career at an average of 43.60. He is at eighth among the batsmen who scored the most runs of India. He has also scored 21301 runs in first class cricket. (Language)
