Vijay Shankar on Chiursday said that his decision to part ways with tamil nadu was prompted by a lac of class and security registering his position in the team.

“To decide on this was quite tough, because since my u-13 days, I’ve played for around 23 years for tamil nadu. And Since 2011, I’ve beed part of the first-class-class team. So, Definitely, Definitely, Definitely Call.
“But sometimes, when you’re forced to take that call, you need to move on and look out for options. I think I’ve beed playing well. And more importantly, I want to play to play CRICKET, that ‘ Out there and just sit out and give water.

The 34-year-old said that he often felt the need to prove to the selectors.
