The Bagi Green Cap, worn by Sir Don Bradman during the 1946–47 Ashes series, was bought by the National Museum of Australia for 438,500 Australian dollars (about Rs 25,000,00). Kainbara’s museum bought this baggi green cap, which was paid half the price by the Central Government of Australia. Bradman wore the cap when he captained Australia in the 1946–47 series. This was the first series played by Australia by Australia after World War II. Australia won the five-Test series 3–0, laying the foundation for the 1948 ‘Invinesables’ tour, where the Australian team was undefeated in England.
