The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday unveiled a record prize pool for the upcoming women’s Odi world cup, to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka in 2025.
The tournament will feature Total Prize Money of $ 13.88 Million – Nearly Four Times The $ 3.5 Million on offer at the previous edition in new zealand in 2022. Prize pool of the 2023 Men’s Cricket World Cup.
The champion in 2025 will earn $ 4.48 million, up from the $ 1.32 million receive by winner australia three years ago. The runner-up will pocket $ 2.24 million, while the losing semifinalists will each collect $ 1.12 million-a significant jump from $ 300,000 in 2022.
