Zimbabwe defeated Sri Lanka in another T20New Delhi. In the second match of the three -match T20 series against Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe showed a great game in Harare on Saturday. The Sri Lankan team, who came out to bat first, was all out on the score of just 80 runs. After this, Zimbabwe won in 14.2 overs, chasing this small target. At the loss of 5 wickets with 34 balls, the team won 1-1 in the series. In the first match, Sri Lanka won by five runs, which will decide the series in the third and final match.
Zimbabwe captain Sikander Raza said, “This is a matter of relief for everyone. We were a little disappointed with the defeat, we were getting closer but could not win. Today’s beauty was that we were accurate. Hopefully, the performances will continue to be better. We will not show nervousness despite disappointment. Hopefully this victory will give us confidence.”
