The Uttar Pradesh Transport Department has banned the Indian team’s all -rounder Akashdeep from driving a motor vehicle without HRSP number plate, along with the license of Car Dealership M / s Sunny Motors in Chinhat, has temporarily suspended for a month. The department has issued a show cause notice to the dealership under Rule 44 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989.
The order issued from the level of Regional Transport Officer PK Singh said that the dealer delivered a new Toyota Fortuner Akash Deep without completing the registration process and without putting a high security number plate and third registration mark. According to the vehicle portal record, the sale bill of the vehicle was released on August 7 while the insurance was done on August 8, but the road tax has not been paid yet. Apart from this, the process of registration is incomplete. Despite this, the vehicle was found running on public roads.
M / s Sunny Motors has been given time to give legally correct explanation in 14 days by the Transport Department. Due to this, action will be taken to cancel their trade certificate. The department has temporarily suspended the license of the dealership for a month. Akashdeep Singh has been sent a vehicle use ban notice under sections 39, 41 (6) and 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. They have been instructed not to run the vehicle on the road until registration, HRSP and third registration mark and the valid insurance is completed. In case of violation, legal action will be taken by seizing the vehicle. In this regard, departmental officials say that if famous celebrities break the rules, it gives a wrong message in the society and weakens the culture of law and rearing.
Significantly, the Transport Department has canceled permits of 8322 vehicles. In which 738 permits have been suspended for 45 days and notices have been issued to 1200 such permit holders, whose validity has ended more than seven years ago.(agency)
