Bangladesh Cricket Board has appointed Alex Marshall as advisor for one year. Julian Wood has been made batting coach for three months and Tony Heming has been made pitch management head for two years.

Dhaka: There has been many changes in the Bangladesh cricket team in view of the preparation of the upcoming T20 Asia Cup to be held in UAE from 9 September. Julian Wood has been appointed expert batting coach for three months while Tony Heming will take over as the head of the pitch management for two years and will be in charge of all international sites and curators.

Now Bangladesh Cricket Board will work on anti corruption

Apart from this, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed former Alex Marshall, former head of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Anti -Corruption Unit (ACU) as an advisor for one year to oversee his operation.

These decisions were taken during the meeting of board members at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium here on Saturday. Wood is a power-touch expert, who has recently worked with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). Marshal was the general manager of the ICC’s Anti -Corruption Unit till September last year.

Bangladesh schedule in Asia Cup

The Bangladeshi team will play their first match against Hong Kong on 11 September in the Asia Cup to be hosted in India. The next match of the team will be from Sri Lanka on 13 September. The last competition in the group stage is to be held from Afghanistan on 16 September. Bangladesh is in Group B in the tournament. While Group A has teams like India, Pakistan, Oman and UAE.
