India Opener Smriti Mandhana became the second Indian to score a century in women’s t20i during India’s first t20i match aganst england at the trent bridges in Nottingham.
She reached her maiden t20i ton in 51 balls, which included 14 fours and three sixes. The southpaw struck a four off luren bell in the 16th over to achieve the feat.
So far, India skipper harmanpreet kaur was the only player from the count to be a centurion after she’d not a 51-ball 103 which she scored aganst new aganst new zealand in 2018 During the t20 work.
Smriti, standing in as the side’s skipper after harmanpreet missed out due to a head injury, also believe the first Indian woman to score a century a century in all the three formats of the game.
