England defeated India by 8 wickets and equals in ODI series

Amy Jones (46 not out), Tammy Bomont (34) and NET Cyber Brant (21 not out) after the best bowling of Engvsind Sophie Eklaston (three wickets), England have defeated India by eight wickets in the second ODI thanks to the brilliant innings of runs.

The opening pair of Amy Jones and Tammy Bomont added 54 runs for the first wicket for England to chase a target of 144 runs. In the 11th over, Sneh Rana pulsed Tammy Bomont and gave India the first success. Bomont scored 34 runs in 35 balls. After this, captain Net Cyber Brant, who came to bat, took the innings with Amy Jones. England have scored 102 runs for one wicket in 18.4 overs when the game was stopped due to rain in the 19th over. England were targeted to score 115 runs in 24 overs when the game started again. With the start of the game, England took their second wicket Net Cyber Brant (21) to Kanti Gaur and sent them to the pavilion. England took 116 runs for two wickets in 21 overs and won the match by eight wickets. Amy Jones scored an innings of 57 balls (46 not out). Sophia Dunkli remained unbeaten after scoring nine runs. From India, Sneh Rana and Kanti Gaur dismissed one batsman each.

Earlier, the Indian women’s team scored 143 runs for eight wickets in the second ODI of 29 overs affected by rain in the three -match series with a restrained batting of opener Smriti Mandhana (42) and Deepti Sharma (30 not out) in front of England’s superb bowling.

The match started due to continuous rains and it was reduced to 29-29 overs.

England decided to bowl by winning the toss between Michauli, the clouds.

Fast bowler M Erlot (two wickets for 26) gave India a big blow by bowling Pratika Rawal (three) in the second over of the innings.

Mandhana and Harleen Deol (16) tried to return the team by shaking 40 runs for the second wicket. This partnership was broken by Sophie Eklestone in the 10th over. He took three wickets for 27 runs.

However, the fall of wickets started after the breakdown of this partnership. Mandhana stood at one end but Eklestone from the other end also followed Indian captain Harmanpreet (seven) after Harleen.

Jemima Rodrigues (three) and Richa Ghosh (two) also returned to the pavilion early. Due to which the score of the Indian team was 72 runs for five wickets for one wicket.

Before the completion of the team’s runs, Mandhana showed the path of the pavilion by Linson Smith (two wickets for 28 runs). He hit five fours in a 51 -ball innings.

Deepti then held one end and took the team’s score to 140 runs with an unbeaten innings of two fours in 34 balls. He shared a 26 -run partnership for the seventh wicket with Arundhati Reddy (14) during this period.
