The excluded left -handed batsman did not make a big mistake and this was done to include an additional batting option at number eight.
India will try to equalize the series in the match starting on July 23, allowing the only change in Old Trafford to be selected in the team in place of 23 -year -old Sudarshan Nair after about a month.

He said, “But I am looking at the third number. Will Karun Nair still continue to play or would you like to feed a young player like Sai Sudarshan who looked comfortable in the last innings of the first Test match? He is young and investment for the future. ,
Dasgupta said, “I think Karun has got his opportunities.” This is not about occasions. How much he looks at the crease even more than this. He looks comfortable in troops but some questions have not been answered yet. And the same thing makes me think something else. ,
He expects stability from the third number batsman when Sudarshan played in Leeds, Nair batted at number six.
Dasgupta said, “For the player who bats at number three, you need to feel that perseverance. And many times, I did not like it. ,
Shubman Gill’s team is competing hard with the home team, so the series is expected to be extremely exciting. India will not want major changes except for a change in batting.
Kuldeep Yadav will have to wait further in the bowling department as Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar are still doing their work well.
Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will play in just one of the remaining two Tests, which is expected to play in Manchester in which India needs to win.
Dasgupta said, “Bumrah should be ready to play. He has got a lot of comfort in the middle of matches. If India is behind 1-2, then you will expect them to play. ” (Language)
