RCBVSPBKS Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bangalore finally defeated Punjab Kings by six runs on Tuesday to win the Indian Premier League title for the first time.
As soon as the victory was decided, Virat could not control his tears and cried on his knees on the field. Along with him, the eyes of RCB fans, who were chanting the mantra of ‘E Sala Cup Namde’ for 18 years, became moist. Iyer, who came with a brilliant innings in the second qualifier, was dismissed for a run. Josh Ilygis scored 39 runs in 23 balls but Pandya caught him on Long Ann in the 13th over. After this, the noise of ‘RCB RCB’ increased on every dot ball.
South Africa’s AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle, who have played for RCB, also specially arrived here for this match. Prabhasimran Singh scored 26 runs in 22 balls for Punjab. Bhuvneshwar Singh sent Nehal Vadhera (15) and Marcus Stoinis (six) to the pavilion in the 17th over within three balls.

Earlier, Punjab Kings stopped Royal Challengers Bangalore for nine wickets for 190 runs on the strength of their bowlers led by Arshdeep Singh and Kyle Jaymison.
Kohli for RCB 122 in 35 balls. He was dismissed for 43 runs at a strike rate of 85. Kohli hit only three fours in his innings. In Powerplay, RCB score was 55 runs for one wicket but only 42 runs were scored from the sixth to 11th over.
Phil Salat (16) hit a six and a four in the first over but lost wickets in the next over. Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer, standing on the midman, took a brilliant high -catch off the jaimson’s ball, taking more than ten steps backwards.
Salt’s dismissal had a major impact on RCB’s innings as Mayank Agarwal (24), Rajat Patidar (26) and Liam Livingstone (25) could not play big innings despite a good start.
Jamison bowled with the exact language and line and kept the batsmen entangled with diversity. He took three wickets for 48 runs in four overs while Arshdeep took three wickets for 40 runs in four overs.
After getting Salt caught by Iyer in the second over, Jamison fabricated the Patidar on a brilliant yorker in the 11th over.
In the fourth and 17th over of the fourth and innings of Jeemison, Jitesh Sharma scored two and Livingstone scored a total of 23 runs. Jitesh scored 24 runs in ten balls with two fours and two sixes. Jaimison lbwed Livingstone on Fulltos.
After giving 37 runs in the first three overs, India’s star fast bowler Arshdeep took three wickets for just three runs in the last over. He did not allow RCB to reach 200 runs by dismissing Krunal (Char), Bhubaneswar (one) and Shepherd (17). (Language)
