Women’s World Cup: ICC Women’s ODI World Cup matches will now be in place of Bangalore at DY Patil Stadium. The tournament will be played on the scheduled dates from 30 September to 2 November.

Bangalore will be replaced in Navi Mumbai as compared to the Women's World CupSmriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma.
New Delhi. The hosting of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup matches has been changed. The DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai is ready to replace the Chenswamy Stadium for the tournament. This decision has been taken due to the withdrawal of the match of M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The police refused to allow the match to be held, as 11 people lost their lives in a stampede during the celebration of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s IPL victory on 4 June.

Five matches will be hosted at DY Patil Stadium. It also includes three league matches, one semi -finals and the final of the 13th edition of the Women’s World Cup on November 2. There has been no change in the tournament dates. It will be played between September 30 to November 2. Apart from Bengaluru, the rest of the Venue will be played on the fixed dates already. Women’s World Cup matches are to be played at ACA Stadium, Holkar Stadium, ACA-VDCA Stadium and R Premdasa Stadium.
